Code of Conduct
Purpose
This Code of Conduct establishes standards for participation in Free Association spaces to ensure an inclusive, respectful, and professional environment for all participants.
Scope
This Code applies to all Free Association spaces, including:
Online platforms and communication channels
Code repositories and technical contributions
Community events and gatherings
External representations of the project
Expected Standards
We invite all participants to:
Engage professionally and respectfully
Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
Accept constructive feedback gracefully
Focus on what supports the community
Show consideration for others
Behavior Outside Community Standards
The following behaviors are outside our community standards:
Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
Trolling, insulting comments, or personal attacks
Publishing others' private information without permission
Other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Violation of applicable laws or regulations

All reports will be handled confidentially. Retaliation against those who report violations in good faith is prohibited.
Enforcement
When participants are asked to stop behavior outside our standards, we request immediate compliance.
Responses to violations may include:
Warning
Temporary suspension from community spaces
Permanent ban from community spaces
The response will be proportionate to the violation. Decisions are made by project maintainers and may be appealed within 14 days.
